• 📦 Place clothes directly into the package you’ll be mailing, with a small note inside (order number + name).
• 🖊️ Or, clearly write your order number and name on the back of the mailer or box.
• 🧴 If you have a ziplock bag, place the clothes inside and write the order details on the bag.

👉 This helps us ensure your precious clothes never get mixed up with another customer’s, and that every keepsake is crafted with the right memories.

Terms of Service

By placing an order with Hello Paper Bird, you agree to the following terms:

Personalized Items

All keepsakes are custom-made using customer-supplied clothing. Due to the personalized nature of these items, all sales are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Customer-Supplied Materials

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all clothing and materials sent to Hello Paper Bird are clean and suitable for use. While every effort is made to preserve meaningful details, specific fabric placements, patterns, and design elements cannot be guaranteed.

Processing Times

Processing times begin once your clothing has been received by Hello Paper Bird. Most keepsakes are completed within 2–10 weeks, depending on the season, order volume, and level of customization.

The estimated processing timeframe applies only to orders for which the clothing to create your keepsake is received by Hello Paper Bird within 14 days of purchase. If the clothing needed to create your keepsake is received more than 14 days after purchase, processing times may be extended and the original estimated timeframe may no longer apply.

Shipping

Customers are responsible for shipping clothing items to Hello Paper Bird. We strongly recommend using tracked and insured shipping services. Hello Paper Bird is not responsible for packages lost, damaged, or delayed in transit.

Product Variations

Because each keepsake is handmade from unique clothing, no two items will be identical. Minor variations in appearance, fabric placement, and construction are a normal part of the handmade process.

Important Safety Information

All keepsakes created by Hello Paper Bird LLC are intended for decorative and sentimental purposes only.

Our keepsakes are not toys and have not been tested, evaluated, or certified to meet toy safety standards or child safety standards.

Children should not play with, sleep with, chew on, climb on, or use keepsakes without direct adult supervision.

Some keepsakes may contain recycled steel shot weighting material. Do not microwave, heat, place in an oven, machine wash, soak, or expose keepsakes to extreme temperatures, as doing so may damage the keepsake and create a safety hazard.

By purchasing and using any keepsake from Hello Paper Bird LLC, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with its use. Hello Paper Bird LLC shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, claim, accident, or other consequence resulting from misuse, improper handling, failure to follow care instructions, or use contrary to the intended purpose of the keepsake.

Please keep all keepsakes out of reach of young children.

Limitation of Liability

Hello Paper Bird is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.

No Return, No Exchange, No Refund Policy

Each Hello Paper Bird keepsake is custom-made from your personal garments, created uniquely for you.
Because of the personalized nature of our work, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds once production has started.

Please review your order carefully before submitting — including spelling, colors, design choices, and shipping details.
If you notice an error or need to reach us, contact us athello@hellopaperbird.com within 24 hours of placing your order.

Once your order is complete, it will be shipped to the address provided at checkout. Shipping confirmation and tracking information will be provided when available.

While every effort is made to ensure safe delivery, Hello Paper Bird is not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, damaged packages, or delivery issues caused by the shipping carrier after an order has been shipped.

Keepsake Sweatshirts

• Machine wash inside out on a gentle cycle with cold water.
• Lay flat or hang to dry. Avoid high heat to preserve the appliqué fabric.
• If ironing is needed, use a low to medium heat setting and iron inside out.
• With proper care, your keepsake sweatshirt will remain beautiful for years to come.

Keepsake Memory Bears, Memory Elephants, Memory Dinosaurs & Other Keepsake Animals

• Spot clean only. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
• Keep away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight.
• Do not microwave. Some weighted keepsakes contain steel shot, and heating may create a fire or safety hazard.
• These keepsakes are intended for decorative and sentimental purposes only and are not toys.
• Machine washing or soaking may damage the keepsake and alter its shape.

Keepsake Name Banners

• Spot clean only.
• Do not machine wash, soak, or tumble dry.
• Keep away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight.
• Washing may cause shrinking, distortion, or changes to the shape of the banner.
