There’s no strict rule, but here are some gentle recommendations to guide you:

• Think of it as about one clothing piece per letter on your sweatshirt. For example, “MAMA” has 4 letters → sending 4 pieces can create a beautifully balanced look. (But don’t worry, it’s just a suggestion, never a requirement.)

• Tiny sizes may need more
  If you’re sending very small pieces, like premature or newborn short sleeves:

  • Front-opening clothing (zippers, buttons, or snaps): usually provides enough fabric for 1 letter, since we can only use the back panel.
  • Non-opening clothing (no zipper or buttons in front): often provides enough for 2 letters.
• Larger baby clothes give us more fabric, so you may need fewer pieces.
• More is better (but never required) — extra fabric gives us more flexibility to design beautifully, and all leftover fabric will be returned with your order.

Most soft baby and family clothing works beautifully — baby tops, bodysuits, pajamas, t-shirts, dresses, or even a loved one’s shirt.

• Avoid leather, thick vinyl, sequins, or very bulky materials, since embroidery machines cannot stitch through them properly.

• Fabrics must also be heat-safe for ironing, since pressing is an important part of the appliqué process.

• If you’re unsure, feel free to include the item, and we’ll let you know if it can be used.

Please prepare and ship your clothing in the way that feels easiest for you:

• 📦 Place clothes directly into the package you’ll be mailing, with a small note inside (order number + name).
• 🖊️ Or, clearly write your order number and name on the back of the mailer or box.
• 🧴 If you have a ziplock bag, place the clothes inside and write the order details on the bag.

👉 This helps us ensure your precious clothes never get mixed up with another customer’s, and that every keepsake is crafted with the right memories.

1. Clothing Condition
Please make sure all clothing items are freshly washed before sending. We cannot work with items that are soiled, heavily stained, or have strong odors.

2. Cutting & Embroidery
Clothing sent to us will be cut, stitched, and tightly embroidered as part of the appliqué process. Once embroidery has begun, the garment cannot be returned to its original state. All leftover fabric pieces will be returned with your completed order (unless you request otherwise).

3. Unusable Materials
We cannot embroider with fabrics such as leather, thick vinyl, sequins, or overly bulky materials. If your clothing includes these, we may not be able to incorporate them fully.

4. Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for all shipping costs when sending items to us. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during transit to us. For safety, we recommend using a trackable shipping method.

5. Production Timeline
Keepsakes typically take 1–4 weeks to complete after your items are received. Timelines may vary slightly during busy seasons or holidays.

6. Handmade Variations
Each keepsake is individually handmade, so small variations may occur. These details make your keepsake one-of-a-kind.

7. No Return / Refund Policy
Because each sweatshirt is personalized and made from your own clothing, once the appliqué process has started, the garment will be tightly stitched by embroidery machines. This process cannot be undone or altered. For this reason, all sales are final and we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds.

8. Ownership & Responsibility
Please double-check that you are comfortable parting with the clothing you send. We are not responsible for sentimental or irreplaceable loss if the clothing is damaged during embroidery.

9. Communication
Thread color selection and design confirmations will be sent via email. Please check your spam/junk folder to ensure you don’t miss our messages.

10. Photo Sharing
We sometimes share photos of our handmade keepsakes to showcase the work we do. If you would prefer your order not to be shared, please let us know when placing your order.

Each sweatshirt is custom-made from your own cherished clothing, making it truly one-of-a-kind. Because every piece is personalized and the appliqué process is permanent once embroidery begins, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.

We kindly ask for your understanding, as this policy ensures the integrity of your keepsake and protects the time and care that go into each handmade creation. 💛

Once we receive your clothes:

• Within 7 days, we’ll email you to choose your embroidery thread colors (please check your spam/junk folder too).
• After your colors are confirmed, your keepsake sweatshirt will take about 2-6 weeks to complete, depending on the season.

Sometimes we share photos and short videos of our handmade keepsakes to showcase the love and detail that goes into every piece. If you’d prefer your keepsake not to be photographed or filmed, simply let us know when placing your order — we’ll always respect your wishes.

• Machine wash inside out on a gentle cycle with cold water.

• Lay flat or hang to dry — avoid high heat to preserve the appliqué fabric.

• If ironing is needed, use a low to medium heat setting and press inside out.
  With gentle care, your keepsake sweatshirt will stay cozy and beautiful for years to come.

1. Select your sweatshirt size and style from our shop.

2. Add any personalization (such as sleeve embroidery or wording).

3. Mail us your chosen clothing item(s) — we’ll provide the shipping address after your order is placed.

4. Once we receive your package, we’ll send you an email within 7 days to confirm your preferred sweatshirt color.

5. After your color is confirmed, we’ll begin creating your keepsake and keep you updated along the way.
